This position is strictly focused on string trimming (weed whacking) around obstacles, fences, structures, and slopes where large mowers cannot reach. This is a highly physically demanding role requiring excellent stamina and precision to maintain clean lines across residential communities.\nKey Responsibilities\nStrictly Trimming Operations: Run commercial 2-stroke string trimmers continuously along routes, property boundaries, and around obstacles.\nPrecision Line Definition: Trim grass cleanly around foundations, fence lines, trees, utilities, and retention areas to perfectly match the height of the mowing deck.\nSlope & Obstacle Management: Confidently navigate steeper banks, ditches, and tight landscape areas that require specialized manual trimming.\nTool Maintenence: Manage trimmer line replacement on the go and perform basic daily upkeep on your assigned equipment.\nSite Safety: Maintain total situational awareness regarding thrown debris, ensuring clear space around homes, cars, and pedestrians while wearing all company-provided PPE.\nQualifications\nMust be at least 18 years old\nPrior experience with commercial-grade string trimmers/weed whackers preferred.\nIncredible physical endurance to operate heavy hand-held equipment outdoors in varying Florida weather conditions.\nPunctuality, strong work ethic, and sharp attention to detail.\nAbility to keep pace with the primary mowing units to maintain route efficiency.\nCompensation & Benefits\nCompetitive hourly wage, paid biweekly\nCompany-provided safety equipment and uniforms\nOpportunities for advancement into specialized operator or crew lead roles\nWork with a fast-growing team committed to quality and growth\nJob Type: Full-time\nPay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour\nBenefits:\nEmployee discount\nFlexible schedule\nHealth insurance\nOn-the-job training\nOpportunities for advancement\nPeople with a criminal record are encouraged to apply\nApplication Question(s):\nEmployment for this role is contingent upon successful completion of a background check relevant to the position.
