Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Mechanical Assembly of parts using manual and electrical equipmentInterpret and work from customer blueprints, assembly drawings, BOMs, and written/verbal instructionsPerform mechanical assembly of enclosures, chassis, and box builds according to engineering drawings and work instructionsAccurately install specialized components, including Helicoils, precision dowel pins, thermal pads, bushings, and press-fit hardware using calibrated tools and strict process controlsEnsure alignment and fit of components using measuring tools and inspection methodsMeasuring tooling, including but not limited to calipers, micrometers, and height gageWork collaboratively with quality assurance and engineering teams to resolve any build issuesFollow proper torque specifications and assembly sequences to meet quality standardsRecord build documentation and complete traveler paperwork as requiredAdhere to all safety regulations and company policiesMaintain clean and organized workstations and adhere to 5S standardsRecommend activities to promote continuous improvement and best practicesRequirementsQualifications:High School diploma or equivalent0 - 2 years of experience in high-complexity mechanical assembly, ideally in aerospace, defense, medical device, or high-tech manufacturing environmentsExperience working in ISO/ AS9102-certified or aerospace/defense manufacturing environments is preferredExcellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, quality-first mindsetPhysical Requirements:Ability to move or transfer products with an overhead crane. Ability to lift 50 lbs. when required. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to read, write, and speak EnglishMust be able to communicate clearly and accurately in noisy environmentsMust also have close, distance, and peripheral vision, with the ability to adjust focus and judge depth.
