This is a TEMPORARY positionSummaryThe Communications Specialist plays a key role in keeping Seacoast Bank associates informed, engaged, and connected to our strategic priorities. Reporting to the Communications Manager within Human Resources, this role supports enterprise-wide internal communications and partners closely with HR, leaders, and business teams across the organization.This role is ideal for a detail-oriented communicator who enjoys collaborating with stakeholders and translating complex information into clear messages that resonate with associates.Essential Duties And ResponsiblitiesDraft, edit, and publish intranet content that support enterprise initiatives, HR programs, and leadership messagingDevelop and distribute content for weekly internal newsletterExecute communication requests in alignment with established intake processes and editorial calendar, ensuring deadlines and priorities are metSupport leader communications, including announcements and internal updatesAssist in planning and execution of associate events, including quarterly All Associate CallsPull intranet metrics and maintain reporting dashboard to recommend improvements based on dataSupport rapid response communications to inform associates of timely events or critical updatesMaintain and monitor internal mailboxes, responding to inquiries or routing messages as appropriateContribute to additional internal communications projects and initiatives as business needs evolveEDUCATION And EXPERIENCEExcellent written communications and editing skills; ability to communicate complex information clearlyStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentHigh attention to detailExperience supporting internal communications preferredPreferred: Bachelors Degree in Communications, Business, Journalism, or related field1-3 Years Experience in related role
