The ideal candidate should have strong construction work experience (2+ plus years) building crew-based proposals. The ideal candidate should also have excellent analytical and numerical skills. Previous work experience with large scale construction a plus. Core Areas of Responsibility:Responsible to understand the project or program scope and its requirements.Performing quantity take-offs fromResponsible to read and understand project specifications as well as bidding requirementsResponsible for determining key variables for cost and other estimates.Responsible to research information on up-coming jobs for bidding purposes Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Has general knowledge of landscape construction operations.Excellent numerical skills and an analytical mindset.Effective listening skills to understand the scope and expectations of tasks to be performed.Have a positive attitude when faced with challenges.Work in an organized and proactive manner.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.Work cooperatively and collaboratively both, independently and as part of a team (team oriented)Effective and professional communication skills; verbal and writtenDetail oriented, able to multi-task and flexibleExperience using Blue Beam or other take-off software a plus.
