We're looking for inspired communicators, resourceful problem solvers, inquisitive thinkers and dedicated professionals who want to learn and grow with us.\r\nPosition Summary\r\nPlan, construct, alter, and repair a wide variety of tools, dyes, fixtures, and machinery where accurate relationship and fitting requires maintenance of very close tolerances.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nMake tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, special machinery try-outs, and diagnose and correct problems\r\nSet-up and operate all tool room equipment, including but not limited to a mill lathe, CNC equipment, and EDM\r\nMust use constant care in safety precautions when constructing, altering, or debugging special machinery\r\nMust be accountable for process, evaluation, measurement, documentation, and improvement on a continuous basis\r\nMust be able to plan, construct, alter, and repair a wide variety of tools, dyes, fixtures, and machinery\r\nMust be able to operate all tool room equipment, such as lathes, milling machines, grinding machines, etc.\r\nQualifications\r\nHigh School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent required.\r\nVocational education or apprenticeship training.\r\n3+ years as a Toolmaker or applicable experience in machine shop\r\nLimited heat treating and welding desired\r\nParker is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
