As our Jail Intake Associate Medical Director, you will provide clinical and administrative oversight for physicians and advanced practice providers delivering 24-hour medical services at the Maricopa County Correctional Health Services (CHS) Intake, Transfer, and Release (ITR) facility. ITR is where all individuals are booked into custody and released from custody; therefore, the facility functions as the first step in screening and understanding the medical needs of patients within the jails. This role collaborates closely with executive and medical leadership to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care for a diverse and complex patient population, including individuals with medical, mental health, and substance use disorders.
