We are seeking an Assistant Program Manager of Operations to support security operations for National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland. This role provides day-to-day operational support to the Program Manager and contract needs.\nResponsibilities\nSupport daily security operations for multiple posts and shifts to ensure consistent coverage.\nEnsure schedules are complete and accurate in Winteam.\nMaintain digital and physical records onboarding, training, compliance, etc.\nEnsure all disciplinary files are reviewed and approved prior to being sent for final review.\nWork closely with the client when posts are being added or removed.\nEnsure that trained and qualified security personnel properly staff all posts\nEnsure full compliance with federal contract requirements, company policies, and security standards.\nSupport strong client relationships and serve as the principal liaison for contract communications.\nMaintain effective communications with all assigned security personnel\nConduct regular inspections, audits, and quality-assurance reviews.\nOversea and maintain staffing levels, hiring needs, onboarding, and training processes.\nPrepare reports required by the corporate office and provide updates as required.\nWill perform any additional duties as assigned to maintain contract compliance.\nThe APM will make decisions and act on behalf of the PM during the PM’s absence and manage all security aspects on the contract.\nConduct regular meetings with the management staff to maintain staffing levels, continuity, implement policy and to discuss strategies for success.\nWorking Conditions\nWork is performed at federal facilities, training environments, and office settings\nMay require extended hours and on-call availability\nTravel may be required\nQualifications\nU.S. citizen\nStrong leadership, organizational and communication skills.\nAbility to work flexible hours and be on call as required to support operations.\nMust be able to multitask.\nHave a fluent command of the English language for both oral and written communication.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting\nSupervisory experience in a security environment.\nExperience\nMinimum of three (3) years of security management on federal or government contracts; or military leadership experience\nMust have experience managing security personnel, scheduling, and operational staffing.\nMust have experience of responding and managing security incidents and emergencies.\nRequired State Licensing\nMaryland Security Guard Certification\nEducation\nAssociate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.\n\nAt First Coast Security Solutions, you’ll be part of a team supporting mission-critical federal operations that truly make a difference.
