The WNR Division serves as the Air Force’s technical, acquisition, and sustainment authority, delivering comprehensive and mission-critical support to the warfighter.\n\nThe division oversees a wide range of Air Force systems including Electronic Warfare, Range Systems, Air Combat Training, Command and Control Systems, Advanced Radar Threat Systems, and Combat Survivor Evader Locator systems. WNR also provides ongoing support to depot-level sustainment, Foreign Military Sales (FMS), and partners such as the U.S. Army, Navy, PACAF, ACC, AFMC, and AETC. This position supports engineering and technical management activities across the acquisition lifecycle.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nConduct program and portfolio reviews to evaluate technical baselines, alternative plans, system designs, and test results\nDesign and perform system-level tests to ensure subsystem and overall system performance meets approved specifications\nValidate systems through development of evaluation criteria and analysis of engineering results\nPrepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations supporting planning, implementation, and corrective actions\nProvide engineering support across acquisition phases including material solution analysis, technology maturation, engineering and manufacturing development, production, deployment, installation, and operations oversight\nSupport proposal analysis activities by evaluating technical feasibility, compatibility, and cost effectiveness\nAssist with source documentation including ICDs, CDDs, CPDs, AoAs, Military Utility Assessments, CONOPS, Technology Development Strategies, FCAs/PCAs, and Technology Standards Profiles\nSupport requirements definition and analysis, architecture design and implementation, system integration, verification and validation\nProvide engineering support for risk management, configuration management, technical data management, interface management, and version control processes\nAssist in development of Systems Engineering Plans (SEP), Risk Management Plans (RMP), and other acquisition documentation\nConduct formal trade studies evaluating performance, cost effectiveness, lifecycle cost, reliability, maintainability, productivity, risk, and schedule impacts\nProvide independent assessments of system readiness for production and risk mitigation\nSupport planning and execution of technical reviews such as System Requirements Reviews (SRR) and Technology Readiness Assessments (TRA)\nDevelop and maintain systems engineering documentation and ensure proper linkage between systems-of-systems architectures\n\nEducation and Experience:\nMust have one of the following combinations of education and experience:\nMaster's degree in Engineering, from an ABET accredited school, and ten (10) years of relevant experience, five (5) of which must be DoD\nOR Bachelor's degree in Engineering, from an ABET accredited school, and twelve (12) years of relevant experience, five (5) of which must be DoD.\nOR fifteen (15) years of directly related experience, eight (8) of which must be DoD\nMust have experience with:\nRequirements development across production, deployment, operations, and sustainment\nArchitecture development and implementation\nModeling and Simulation, including Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles\nVerification & Validation (V&V)\nTechnical data package development and sustainment\nConfiguration management principles\nNetwork architectures, embedded systems, and application deployment across hardware platforms\nCloud deployment and virtualization environments\nFamiliarity with DoD acquisition processes including Technology Maturation, Risk
