Click Apply Now to join the Chamberlain experience!What You Will Be Accountable ForDesign, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and reliable enterprise applications using Core JavaWrite clean, modular, maintainable, production-ready code following software engineering best practicesDevelop application modules, reusable components, and supporting unit tests with minimal supervisionParticipate in backend engineering initiatives, including architecture discussions and technical solution designSupport debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis of application defects and system failuresDesign, enhance, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks in partnership with Development, QA, and SET teamsBuild modular, reusable automation test suites using Core Java, Cucumber, and related frameworksTranslate complex business and technical requirements into clear automation scenarios and executable test coverageCreate, maintain, and review testing documentation, artifacts, and regression assetsOwn comprehensive testing efforts across: Functional testing, System-wide testing, Integration, testing, Regression testing, End-to-end validationIdentify, document, troubleshoot, and drive complex defects through resolutionWork within Unix/Linux environments for system navigation, log review, troubleshooting, and process managementSupport and optimize CI/CD automation pipelines using tools such as: Jenkins, Ansible, Bamboo, XLR, Maven, GitParticipate in continuous delivery and release engineering initiativesSupport cloud-readiness efforts and modernization initiatives where applicableWhat Qualifications You NeedBachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related fieldMinimum 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, automation engineering, QA engineering, or a blended development/testing roleStrong hands-on Core Java development experience in enterprise environmentsDemonstrated expertise in multithreaded Java application developmentAdvanced experience designing and building automation frameworksStrong experience with: Cucumber, Maven, Git, Jenkins, AnsibleSolid manual testing foundation including: Test planning, Test case design, Defect lifecycle, management, Root cause analysis, Strong Unix/Linux command-line experienceExperience debugging complex application and automation failuresAbility to independently code, troubleshoot, and drive technical problem resolutionExperience working in continuous integration / continuous deployment environmentsPreferred QualificationsExperience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar cloud environmentsFinancial services, capital markets, exchange technology, or trading systems experienceExperience supporting high-availability or low-latency enterprise platformsExposure to secure software development practicesBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical disciplineAbout The ClientMixing powerful thinking and cutting-edge technology, our client is where the world comes to manage risk.
