Laundry Aide

Laundry Aide This individual operates laundry truck and delivers linens to off-site user areas; delivers linens and picks up soiled linens at off-site user areas. Builds and distributes exchange carts at off-site user areas. High School diploma or GED equivalent highly preferred Ability to follow directions On the job training provided Clear driving record; no moving violations Drives truck and delivers exchange carts with clean linens to off-site user areas Folds bath towels, blankets, thermal blankets, gowns and other laundry Loads and sets up exchange carts to be delivered to user and ancillary departments Sorts and stocks linen items Stocks linen closet on nursing Make special deliveries to departments upon request Picks up exchange carts from user departments daily Perform other related duties as assigned Picks up soiled linens in carts Willing to work some weekends and evening shift and holidays if needed
