Digital Marketing Strategist
Position OverviewManski Media is on the lookout for a Marketing Strategist—someone who can dream up compelling marketing strategies, guide creative direction, and still catch a missing Oxford comma in a caption draft.This role is the perfect balance of high-level strategic planning and hands-on creative review. You’ll help shape brand tone, define messaging, collaborate on content direction, and provide detailed feedback across all types of client work—social media, emails, ads, video scripts, and more. You’ll also join client onboarding sessions (and yes, take great notes), help interpret their goals, and ensure what we produce actually aligns with their vision.This is not a “just delegate and supervise” kind of role—you’ll be in the trenches with us, proofing, brainstorming, concepting, and improving creative at every step.What You’ll Be Doing- Strategy & Campaign PlanningParticipate in client onboarding sessions to help clarify tone, goals, target demographics, and creative directionTake organized, detailed notes to help translate big ideas into actionable stepsAssist in building brand strategy docs, campaign frameworks, and multi-channel content plansCollaborate with creative leads across social, video, design, and email to brainstorm campaign ideasResearch client industries, competitors, and marketing trends to help inform smart creativeCreative Oversight & Content ProofingReview content across departments before final editor review—including captions, email copy, graphics, video scripts, and adsEnsure all work meets brand standards, campaign goals, and Manski Media’s quality expectationsOffer thoughtful, constructive feedback to help polish and elevate contentSource reference examples or creative inspiration to guide the team in the right directionCollaborate with the editor and creative team to ensure nothing falls through the cracksInternal Collaboration & SupportWork cross-functionally with content creators, designers, and project managers to bring strategy and execution togetherHelp refine creative workflows and quality control systemsOccasionally, coach or mentor teammates on branding, content quality, or messaging consistencyRequired Skills & Experience3+ years in a brand, strategy, or content-based marketing role (agency experience strongly preferred)Excellent writing, grammar, and communication skillsExperience with brand tone development, audience targeting, and campaign planningProficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Drive, and Monday.comGreat eye for design and layout—especially spotting small details others missA proven ability to manage multiple moving parts while staying organizedComfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with shifting prioritiesBonus SkillsExperience building email funnels, digital ads, or branded campaign messagingExperience coaching or mentoring other creativesFamiliarity with performance-based creative strategyA love for clean, organized systems and clearly defined processesIndustries You’ll Work WithOur clients come from a wide range of industries, including:Construction & TradesHealth & WellnessReal Estate & MortgageInsurance & FinanceRetail & E-CommerceBeauty & WellnessAnd moreImportant Note: This Is an In-Office RoleThis position is 100% in-office at our Bend, Oregon location.
