The Warehouse Associate plays a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting the seamless operation of the distribution center, and contributing to the overall success of the supply chain by adhering to best practices in warehouse management and safety protocols.\n\nThis full-time, first-shift position supports the company's mission to provide high-quality renewable energy solutions by ensuring that all warehouse activities are conducted with precision, efficiency, and a focus on safety.\n\nPRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nCounts, verifies, and manually unloads incoming orders and shipments.\nManually picks, packs, and ships product/orders.\nVerifies and manually loads orders on outgoing trucks.\nVerifies and manually loads outgoing orders onto customer vehicles.\nEnsures safety and proper performance of helpers on company property, job site, and in transit.\nConsistently uses proper safety gear, including hard hats and steel toe shoes.\nMaintains neatness and cleanliness of warehouse.\nMaintains inventory in appropriate/designated storage areas in warehouse.\nUtilizes forklift for moving inventory.\nGeneral yard and office maintenance to include cleaning and painting.\nProvides quality service to customers using clear communication skills.\nKnowledgeable regarding all company products and services.\nPerforms delivery duties as needed.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\n\nQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:\nSatisfactory driving record per company policy.\nHighly organized and self-directed.\nHigh level of customer service.\nGood listening, reading, verbal and written communication skills.\nAdept at problem solving, attention to detail, and time management.\nProficient math skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.\nAbility to communicate and build associations with all levels within the organization.\nBasic technical skills for data entry, internal/external communications, etc.\nUse of handhelds for inventory and order management.\nUse WMS system for inventory and order management.\nTo excel in this position, the person must be able to effectively perform all required duties.
