Open up opportunities with HPE.\nJob Description:\n\nHow will you make your mark?\nThe PC/FLex team is seeking a Cloud developer in Test who thrives in a challenging and fast-paced environment. The focus of this position will be to develop test automation code. You will be part of a highly dynamic team.\nWhat you'll do:\nUnderstand, participate, provide input for functional and design specs and other design documentation.\nExecute and automate long running, scale, reliability, and security testcases and report the results.\nCollaborate with other cross-functional teams including but not limited to Product Management, Customer Support and Platform engineering.\nProvide guidance and mentoring to new hires joining the team.\nWhat you need to bring:\nBS/MS degree in Science or Engineering from a recognized and accredited university/college.\nTypically, 2-4 years’ experience in developing and supporting automation test frameworks from ground up.\nKnowledge of complete SDLC and experience in software testing methodology, tools, test planning and test execution.\nStrong coding skills.\nStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills for performing root cause analysis.\nAbility to effectively work with stakeholders in multiple engineering teams for defect investigation, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective/preventative actions.\nKnowledge of tools and processes for regression, scale, and performance testing.\nAbility to write clear test specifications.\nExperience working in continuous integration and continuous delivery.\nSelf-motivated with excellent verbal and written communication skills.\nProficiency in programming in Python/Java/Go.\nExperience in the following areas/technologies:\nVirtualization technologies\nSQL/NoSQL DBs, XML\nREST APIs, JSON, Web Applications\nCI/CD, Git/Gitlab, Jenkins\nLINUX/VM environments\nPytest, TestNG, Junit\nScale/performance testing tools\nAdditional Skills:\nCloud Architectures, Cross Domain Knowledge, Design Thinking, Development Fundamentals, DevOps, Distributed Computing, Microservices Fluency, Full Stack Development, Release Management, Security-First Mindset, User Experience (UX)\nWhat We Can Offer You:\nHealth & Wellbeing\nWe strive to provide our team members and their loved ones with a comprehensive suite of benefits that supports their physical, financial and emotional wellbeing.\nPersonal & Professional Development\nWe also invest in your career because the better you are, the better we all are.
