Program Director- Older Adults
Help create meaningful, engaging experiences for older adults in our community. Essex Junction Recreation & Parks is seeking a Program Director with a focus on programs and services for older adults. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about enriching the lives of older adults through recreation, social connection, wellness, and lifelong learning opportunities.What You'll DoYou'll lead the development, coordination, and growth of recreation programs and events, with a primary focus on serving older adults while supporting broader department initiatives.Pay/Wages The pay rate is between $56,083 to $61,000 based on experience.Benefits(this is not a comprehensive list of benefits)3 weeks paid vacation to start.14 paid holidays18 sick days per yearRetirement benefits include a pension plan (VMERS C) or deferred compensation plan (VMERS DC) , and the ability to contribute to a 457, Traditional IRA or ROTHGenerous health insurance benefit in which the City pays 94% of the premium for medical and the first 80% of the deductible.
