Develop custom software data exchanges using a combination of Java and Groovy by working within a client focused team. This role is primarily responsible for designing, developing and testing data exchanges for our enterprise case management product.\n\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, develop, troubleshoot, debug, and test software data exchanges\nMaintain, and improve the performance of existing data exchanges\nReview, and provide feedback on development requirements to business analysts\nRecommend enhancements to existing processes to achieve continuous improvement\nDevelop software solutions with an agile mindset\nInterface with clients as required via electronic communication\n\nRequirements:\nBachelors in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience\n2+ years of professional, full-time development experience using an object-oriented programming language and model\nStrong understanding of object-oriented programming design patterns\nAble to independently troubleshoot problems, find root issues, and develop one or more approaches to solving problems\nAble to follow, adopt, recommend, and promote development standards\nPossess effective verbal and written communication skills suited for technical audiences, peers and clients\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nJava and Groovy experience\nKnowledge of interfacing with REST and SOAP APIs\nKnowledge of Windows Server-based environments and networks\nExperience with querying relational databases, preferably TSQL or PL/SQL\nSCRUM or Agile development methodologies\n\nThe above statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed in this job function.
