Assist with Customer Pickups. Back up for anyone who needs help in logistics.\nCompensation range starting at $17/hr.\nIn this role you will focus on:\nResponsibilities:\nManually pick and stage correct production items at the appropriate loading dock location\nUse of hand-held scanner to locate items and move them to appropriate dock door\nMove any damaged or non-conforming items to the appropriate area for reclaim or RTV\nUse of a forklift and order picker will be required\nConduct all activities in a safe manner, adhering to company safety standards\nMeet standards for quality as set forth by the company by inspecting product as pulled and/or loaded\nAssure proper housekeeping and organization on the loading dock and warehouse aisles\nStrive to meet team efficiencies for items pulled without compromising accuracy\nMay be required to assist in unloading or loading trucks when necessary\nQualifications:\nMust be able to read and understand English\nSix months to one year related experience preferred\nUse of computers helpful\nSpecialty Building Products is the leading distributor of specialty building products in North America.
