Part-Time Office Manager — Manufacturing ShopRam Precision is a small, family-run tool and die / precision manufacturing business located in Horsham, PA, near Hatboro-Horsham High School. We are looking for a reliable, organized, detail-oriented Part-Time Office Manager to help manage our front office, customer orders, bookkeeping, and administrative workflow.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in keeping things organized, and is comfortable working in a small-business environment where communication and follow-through matter.ScheduleMonday–Thursday: 9:00 AM – 3:30 PMFriday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PMResponsibilitiesThe Office Manager will help process and track customer orders from start to finish. This includes:Receiving purchase orders by phone and emailReviewing orders to determine what information is complete or missingCommunicating with customers to clarify job detailsEntering, organizing, and tracking orders through completionCoordinating paperwork and job information with shop employeesPreparing invoices and following up on paymentManaging web-based domestic and international customer ordersQuoting jobs, fulfilling orders, and following up after the saleActing as a communication link between customers and our calibration laboratoryHelping maintain required documentation and procedures for our accredited calibration labHandling general office duties including phones, filing, banking, and paperworkBookkeeping and Administrative DutiesThis position also includes:Accounts receivableAccounts payableInvoicingPayrollBankingBasic bookkeepingManaging customer and vendor paperworkAI and Technology UseWe use AI tools every day to help with order entry, updating job information, drafting customer communication, organizing tasks, and improving office workflow. You do not need to be an AI expert, but you must be comfortable learning and using new technology. We are looking for someone who is open-minded, curious, and willing to use modern tools to stay organized and efficient.RequirementsPrevious office management experience requiredStrong organizational skills are an absolute mustExcellent attention to detailStrong communication and customer service skillsQuickBooks experience a plusComfortable using Google, internet browsers, email, Excel, and WordMail merge experience is a plusMust have a valid driver's license and reliable transportationMust be dependable, professional, friendly, and able to work independentlyWork EnvironmentWe are a small, family-run manufacturing shop with approximately 15 employees. This is not a large corporate office. The right person will be comfortable wearing multiple hats, staying organized, and helping keep the office running smoothly.We also have a shop dog we bring in most days, a friendly 50-pound female boxer who comes to work every day and spends time relaxing in the office, so the applicant will be have to be fine with that as well.Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate is mature, reliable, organized, professional, and friendly. We need someone who can take ownership of the office workflow, communicate clearly with customers and employees, and make sure orders, paperwork, invoices, and follow-ups do not fall through the cracks.
