{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"383e119a6c81733f94a808d1","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/383e119a6c81733f94a808d1","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/383e119a6c81733f94a808d1","title":"CMM Programmer","description":"Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):\nDevelop proven Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) programs by using customer-provided drawings, CAD models, using actual parts and company-developed information to facilitate program launches.\nProvide support to Quality Inspectors and production personnel during manufacturing and inspection of parts.\nCreates inspection tooling when necessary to support inspection of parts.\nSupport inspectors when new programs are released and ensures programs run correctly.\nUnderstand GD&T and blueprint reading, pass on detailed information to inspectors when required.\nTroubleshoot CMM programs when errors in the inspection process occur.\nMaintain CMM programming schedules within Epicor (PDR=Priority dispatch Report)\nResponsible for CMM program document change control management.\nProvides CMM training to Inspectors and other machine operators in report analysis and CMM use/programming\nSupport in-process inspection for internal manufacturing efforts\nCollaborate across departments to ensure that information and data are transferred effectively to meet customer needs and organizational objectives.\nContinuously improve procedures, processes, and methods to ensure zero escapes on all CMM inspections\nAppropriately identify and segregate nonconforming products and initiate a nonconforming material report per internal NCR procedures (in conjunction with inspectors)\nQualifications:\n5-7 years of experience programming CMMs, preferably in a machining environment.\nAbility to correctly use and interpret measuring tools including height gauge, micrometer, caliper scale (linear), gauge blocks, thread gauges, comparative standards and other inspection tools.\nExperience using Zeiss CALYPSO or other CMM software/equipment\nPossess a sound basic understanding of models-based machining and manufacturing processes\nKnowledge and experience, specific to model-based inspection techniques\nStrong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T)\nAdvanced knowledge and understanding of mechanical inspection in a manufacturing environment\nExperienced working with semiconductor-manufactured parts\nAbility to work well in a diverse team environment\nCMM programming certifications a plus\nCompensation / Benefits\nCompetitive Salary, 401K\nMedical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance for all Full-Time employees.\nPay: $40.00 -
