This role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, modifying, testing, and verifying complex electronic and electro‑mechanical equipment at the component level, including RF matchers and generators. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong troubleshooting capability, the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment, and expertise with advanced test equipment and circuit analysis.\nKey Responsibilities Diagnose and repair complex automatic and logic‑controlled electronic systems at the component level.\nPerform troubleshooting and failure analysis of RF equipment, including matchers and generators.\nModify and test sub‑components to meet operational requirements.\nConduct detailed root‑cause analysis of major equipment malfunctions.\nSet up, operate, and adjust advanced diagnostic and measurement instrumentation.\nDevelop or improvise circuits or test setups to support unique repair scenarios.\nWork independently to complete assigned repairs with minimal supervision.\nMaintain documentation and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and customers.\nRequired Skills & Qualifications Strong background in RF electronics repair, preferably in semiconductor equipment.\nSolid knowledge of analog and digital electronics; intermediate circuit design.\nProficiency with complex test equipment and instrumentation: voltage meters, ESROscilloscope, signal generators, etc.\nGood mechanical aptitude and ability to read schematics and understand circuits.\nRepair RF matchers and generators as well as complex PCB and controllers using root‑cause methodology to the component level.\nPerform post‑repair testing, including load testing and signal generation.\nEnter information into the internal database.\nPerform through‑hole, surface mount and fine‑pitch soldering.\nBasic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).\nAdaptability in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment with shifting priorities.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\nPhysical & Work Requirements Lift 50+ pounds as needed.\nWork independently with minimal supervision.\nAdhere to all safety protocols, including electrical, mechanical, and chemical safety.\nWork Environment High‑performance repair facility setting with a dynamic workload and evolving priorities. Regular interaction with customers, technicians, and management.\nQualifications Minimum associate’s degree in Electronics. Minimum 5years’ experience working in bench repair, specifically on matching units and generators (e.g., Advanced Energy, Odyssey). Experience in RF theory and AC/DC circuit design.\nEducation and Experience Minimum associate’s degree in Electronics. Minimum 5years’ experience working in bench repair field.
