Construction recruiter
We are seeking an experienced Construction Recruiter to support high-volume hiring needs for a 3–6 month remote contract. This role will focus on sourcing, screening, and onboarding qualified candidates across a range of construction positions to meet project timelines and workforce demands.ExpectationsManaged full-cycle recruitment for construction roles including skilled trades, project managers, superintendents, and laborersPartnered with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, project timelines, and required skill setsSourced candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and industry networksScreened resumes, conducted interviews, and evaluated candidates for technical skills, certifications, and cultural fitCoordinated and scheduled interviews between candidates and project leadership teamsMaintained a pipeline of qualified candidates to support ongoing and upcoming construction projectsNegotiated offers, compensation packages, and start dates in alignment with company policiesEnsured compliance with employment laws, safety regulations, and union requirements (if applicable)Assisted with onboarding processes, including background checks, drug screenings, and new hire documentationTracked recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate qualityRequired At least 2 years of construction industry recruiting experience for both skilled trades and construction leadership roles (Carpenters, Laborers, Foreman, etc.)Demonstrated experience in full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, and hiring across multiple job levels.Familiarity with construction, architecture, and/or project-based industries is highly desirable.Proficiency with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter.Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously.Ability to collaborate effectively within a team-based environment.
