This is a great opportunity for an individual to work closely with the team at Van Leeuwen Ice Cream as the company continues its growth.The Retail Marketing Intern will support retail marketing initiatives across all of our scoop shop locations. This role will work closely with our Retail teams to execute campaigns, support new shop openings and enhance the in-store guest experience.This is an ideal opportunity for someone interested in brand marketing, experiential retail and is a fan of Ice Cream.This role will be based out of our Williamsburg, Brooklyn Office 3 days a week.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESSupport execution of retail marketing campaigns and seasonal promotions / launchesAssist with planning and coordination of new shop openings (NSOs), events, and local community activationsConduct market research to identify local partnership opportunities and community engagement ideasHelp maintain marketing materials and ensure brand consistency across shop locationsAssist with coordinating influencer visits and content capture in retail storesManage contacts and assist with communications to retail complex marketing teamsTrack and report on marketing initiatives and campaign performanceProvide general administrative support to the marketing team as neededJOB REQUIREMENTS Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related fieldKnowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Business Suite ApplicationsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPassion for food, hospitality, and brand storytellingAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentComfortable working both independently and collaborativelyMonday - Friday.
