Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant
Duties: - Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans as directed by the Occupational Therapist- Provide therapeutic interventions and activities to improve patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being- Help patients develop or regain daily living skills, such as dressing, grooming, and feeding- Collaborate with the Occupational Therapist to assess patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary- Educate patients and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment to enhance independence- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records Experience: To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications:- Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program- Valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and their application in occupational therapy
