About Beach Church: Beach Church is a rapidly growing, non-denominational church in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, with a mission of Leading People to a Life-Changing Relationship with Jesus.Over the past three years, Beach Church has grown from averaging 750 people to more than 2,200 people each weekend. Hundreds have been baptized. Thousands of guests have walked through our doors. Sermon-Based LifegroupsBuild and multiply sermon-based LifeGroups as the primary relational discipleship environmentIdentify and remove bottlenecks that prevent groups from launching or multiplyingRecruit, train, coach, and pastor LifeGroup leadersLead three ten-week LifeGroup sessions annually (Fall, Winter, Spring)Write weekly sermon-based LifeGroup curriculum with practical applicationEquip leaders to facilitate discussion, prayer, transparency, and next-step application2. Next Steps Assimilation Pathway Own and continuously refine the Next Steps pathway - Intro, Grow, Serve, and Lead.Recruit, train, and lead the quarterly Next Steps team and facilitators while strengthening follow-up and handoffs between each stepMaintain a simple dashboard tracking participation, completion rates, and pathway movement, removing bottlenecks that slow progressionOwns baptism follow-up, preparation, and coordination3. Discipleship Alignment and Ministry OversightProvide directional leadership to Family Ministry, Children’s Ministry, Students, College volunteer leadership, and Celebrate Recovery to ensure alignment with Beach Church’s relational-discipleship strategyEstablish clear discipleship language, expectations, and outcomes across every age and stageMeet regularly with ministry leaders to review goals, evaluate health, and remove barriers to growth and leader development4.
