This is a paid internship.\n\nActivities:\n\nAssist with month‑end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.\n\nSupport budget tracking, forecast preparation, and variance analysis.\n\nHelp analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.\n\nBuild and maintain Power BI dashboard to support reporting and automation project.\n\nCollaborate with team members on cross‑functional projects.\n\nWho We Are Looking For:\n\nSenior undergraduate or graduate student pursuing an Accounting or Finance degree.\n\nStrong interest in accounting and financial analysis.\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel.\n\nPower BI experience is a definite plus.\n\nStrong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.\n\nPhysical Requirements:\nWork is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards in close proximity to others. Must have the ability to lift and carry small parcels, packages, and other items. Must be able to walk moderate distances in a warehouse and production environment.\n\nThis internship is offered through Sharp Manufacturing Company of America (SMCA) in Memphis, TN. This is an in‑office opportunity. Hours can be expected to range 20-40 hours per week. Interns selected are not employees of SMCA, as employment will be through a third‑party staffing agency.
