The Maintenance Technician will play an active role during large-scale production & building upgrades and/or changeover projects.\nShift Hours - 9pm to 5.30am (Sunday - Thursday)\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nPerform troubleshooting, repair and installation of:\nMechanical devices and components including Gears, bearings, drives and gearboxes\nElectronic devices and components including low and high voltage AC & DC motors, sensors, PLC’s, actuators, power supplies, transformers, heating and cooling controls and systems\nPneumatics systems including compressors, logic circuits, actuators, sensors\nPerform preventive inspections, lubrication, periodic and incidental maintenance, and repair of production equipment & HVAC.\nPerform maintenance, inspection, testing, and operation of all steam boilers and related equipment.\nPerform fabrication of equipment and parts through welding and some basic machining processes\nAssist in the design, specification and/or procurement of new equipment\nCoach and train production operators in basic maintenance of production machinery and equipment\nWork as a team and communicate professionally. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Perform duties within quality control and safety guidelines.
