4/10 Production Assembler 2Shift: 2nd Shift / Schedule: M - Th | 3:30 pm 2:00 am ***Must be able to train on 1st shift at the 1st shift rate. Upon transition to the 2nd shift, the rate will increase due to the shift differential. Years of Experience (Required):2+ years of relevant experience Must Haves (Required): Soldering Experience, Conformal Coating Experience, Wire Harness Assembly Experience Requirements above must all be met. Nice to HavesReading Blueprints, Understanding SWI flow Preferred Certifications/CredentialsJ-STD certification, IPC-610 certification, ESD compliance training Development Opportunities: We have 23 product lines across 3 buildings, offering opportunities to grow technically.Target Companies: Any PCBA production company would be a good fit for the Electronics FactoryJob Designation:The Production Assembler 2 performs a variety of routine mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations under moderate guidance and in accordance with company policy and safety procedures.Responsibilities:Performs a variety of routine mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations in accordance with company instructions and proceduresConducts inspections of own and /or other associates' work to ensure correctness in accordance with company and /or customer drawingApplies process specifications governing the production of product within an assigned cell, records production time and quantity dataMaintains work area under company guidelines and participates in events as requiredProvides simple welding tasks and/or brazing, or soldering, and may operate light machinery such as a sand blaster, or electro- etching processing, and pressActively demonstrates all safety policies and proceduresOther responsibilities as assignedRegular, consistent, and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s), and additional hours as necessary Qualifications:Skilled at routine mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operationsAble to operate a variety of hand tools and machineryAbility to read and interpret company documents, such as safety rules, operating/manufacturing instructions, policies and proceduresGood manual dexterity required to work with small partsCapable of recognizing and solving typical problems that can occur in own work area; evaluates and selects solutions from established optionsEffective oral written and interpersonal skills Education & Experience:Education: High School Diploma/Equivalent and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.Certifications: Vocational training, apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in related field.
