This role will help transition the organization from ad-hoc reporting to a disciplined, scalable analytics operating rhythm while remaining pragmatic, fast-moving, and closely connected to the business.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLeadership & Operating Model\nLead the Data & Commercial Analytics function.\nOwn analytics intake, prioritization, and delivery across commercial domains.\nDefine and implement KPI frameworks and performance reporting cadence.\nEstablish a consistent reporting house style and performance rhythm across channels.\nTeam Management & Development\nManage and develop a Senior Data Analyst and BI Analyst.\nSet performance standards, goals, and professional development paths.\nFoster a disciplined yet pragmatic analytics culture.\nHands-On Analytics & Insights\nLead high-impact commercial analyses across retail, ecommerce, and wholesale.\nDrive client analytics initiatives and experimentation.\nElevate the quality, clarity, and business relevance of insights delivered to leadership.\nData, Platform & AI Collaboration\nDesign and guide data models and dashboards to ensure consistency and trust.\nPartner with technology teams to strengthen data foundations.\nPilot pragmatic, responsible AI-assisted analytics capabilities.\nStakeholder Partnership & Storytelling\nAct as the primary analytics partner for senior commercial leaders.\nDeliver executive-ready insights and performance narratives.\nTranslate complex data into concise, decision-ready recommendations.\nRequired Skills:\n7+ years of experience in analytics, including leadership exposure.\nAdvanced SQL proficiency.\nStrong experience with BI tools and dashboard development.\nDemonstrated commercial acumen in performance-driven environments.\nExperience managing or mentoring analysts.\nHigh discretion and sound judgment.\nPolished and concise communication style.\nComfortable working with both creative and commercial leaders.\nPragmatic, accountable, and execution-oriented.\nStrong storytelling ability with data.\nNice to Have:\nExperience in luxury or premium retail environments.\nExposure to Python or R.\nExperience in client analytics and experimentation frameworks.\nLocation:\nMust be available to work onsite 4x a week in DTLA\nEmployment type:\nCorp to corp (C2C) preferred or contract\nApplicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the US.
