We are a rapidly growing, established service company with service contracts throughout the United States.\nResponsibilities:\nComplete the 1-year Biomedical Technician Training program\nComplete 320 hours of On-the-Job hands-on training\nObtain a Certified Associate in Biomedical Technology certificate through AAMI\nRepair, install, maintain, calibrate and inspect a diverse range of therapeutic and diagnostic biomedical instrumentation\nComplete all required paperwork on new equipment inspections and equipment repairs and failures accurately and on time\nProperly maintain company issued equipment\nStay current with new products and new technologies in the biomedical industry\nCommunicate job status to management\n100% field service comprised travel primarily throughout Southern New England and the Greater Boston service territories.\nRequirements:\n18 years or older\nGood oral and written communication skills\nHigh School diploma or GED\nDemonstrates basic computer literacy (can navigate a user interface, basic working knowledge of Word, Outlook, and Excel, etc.)\nDemonstrates a mechanical/electrical aptitude\nMust have flexible schedule as starting and ending times vary daily\nAdaptable and able to respond to changing priorities while remaining focused on results\nPhysically able to fulfill job functions, including lifting up to 50 lbs., using small tools and BMET equipment\nCandidates must be based within reasonable commuting distance of the service area (Southern New England and Greater Boston area)\nWho you are:\nTeam player, highly organized and detail oriented\nExcellent verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills\nStrong, consistent work ethic and time management skills\nAbility to multitask and meet deadlines\nAbility to work in a high paced work environment\nMaintain high level of customer service\nProactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and driving process improvements\nBecome a Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician or Manager:\nBecause we believe in only offering our clients the most exceptional level of service, we encourage and will pay for the CBET and CHTM certification exam application fee and study materials for our technicians and management.\nWe pride ourselves on our low employee turnover and credit our successful employee retention to superior pay levels, our reputation as a stable and growing company, and our teamwork mentality.
