This position can be filled in Washington, DC or Huntsville, AL.\n\nYour future duties and responsibilities\nThe candidate will be working closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure data availability and quality for analytics and reporting purposes. Candidate should have a strong background in data engineering, data management, and data integration techniques, with a specific focus on data virtualization tools and platforms. This role requires deep expertise in data engineering, strong problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of distributed data processing frameworks.\n\nAbility to deliver an advanced visual analytic application to include developing data analytics for desktop and web-developed visual analytic software; facilitating the bulk analysis of relational information utilizing advanced graphics, visualization, and highperformance computing.\nExperience utilizing big data technologies and knowledge of data science models to analyze large amounts of data and create valuable insights.\nExperience integrating third-party components, the introduction of new custom capabilities, modification of existing code, process improvement recommendation, and automation of operations and maintenance tasks.\nExpertise in architect and utilization of large-scale data processing, computationally intensive statistical modeling, and advanced analytics.\n\nRequired qualifications to be successful in this role\n\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology or related discipline.\nMinimum of 8-10 years' experience as a Data Engineer.\nHands-on software development experience with a focus on continuous delivery and deployment and cloud automation.\nExperience with building scalable and efficient data processing pipelines.\nExperience with ensuring data accuracy and integrity.\nExperience with Optimizing data processing workflows for performance.\nProactive approach to identifying problems, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.\nDatabricks and Lakehouse architectures.\nSpark, PyTorch, Tensorflow, Python, Scala, CoreNLP, and Transformer foundational models\nAWS OpenSearch, experience with AWS, Splunk, Databricks, and other Oracle/SQL based platforms.\nExperience with python, Microsoft VBA, and Databricks.\nActive Top-Secret clearance.\n\nPlease note that due to the nature of this government contract, US Citizenship is required.\n\nCGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
