And we’re reimagining how space can connect us, ensuring security and prosperity.\n\nWe are looking for a Project Engineer to join our Spacecraft Flight Cable and Harness Design team as an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead and Cost Account Manager (CAM).\n\nLocation: This position does not support teleworking ; you will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Littleton CO and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full‑time.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nProvide leadership on a fast‑paced team from requirements through development and production.\n\nAssure coordination between functional groups during the product development life cycle.\n\nCommunicate technical status and issues internally to program, technical, and functional leadership as well as externally to the customer.\n\nParticipate in technical reviews and audits.\n\nCoordinate the planning, organizing, control, integration and completion of engineering projects (harness/cable) within the area of assigned responsibility.\n\nHelp develop timely resolution plans for issues, compliance evidence, and all associated documentation.\n\nResolve engineering and program execution issues quickly to support leadership and customer needs.\n\nMaintain an in-depth understanding of parts procurements, headcount challenges, and resource constraints.\n\nQualifications\n\nFlight cable & harness design or production experience, having led program design teams and been sought after as a subject matter expert.\n\nExperience in root cause analysis, having proven successes in leading investigation teams and implementing corrective actions.\n\n8+ years of professional experience with a degree.\n\nUS citizenship required. No clearance needed to start, but you must obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance.\n\nBasic Qualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent experience/combined education.\n\nTeam leadership experience.\n\nCost account management (CAM) experience.\n\nIntegrated Master Schedule (IMS) / Earned Value Management (EVM) experience.\n\nAbility to attain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance; US citizen.\n\nDesired Skills\n\nProgram planning experience.\n\nExperience with Zuken schematic/cabling drafting tools (or similar) and Creo 3D modeling tools (or similar) centered in model‑based engineering.\n\nCollaboration with subsystems, survivability, environmental, and other specialty engineers to develop unique cables for various space products.\n\nCable and harness production experience or working with production centers.\n\nExperience presenting to leadership and customers in design reviews and technical interchange meetings.\n\nSecurity Clearance\nThis position requires a government security clearance. You must be a US Citizen.
