This Contract position will focus on budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and data accuracy to help guide sound business decisions. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with planning tools, and an understanding of non-profit and grant-based financial environments.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nMaintain and update financial data with a high level of accuracy to support reporting and planning activities.\nDevelop budget models, forecasts, and variance analyses to help leadership evaluate financial performance.\nUse enterprise performance management tools, including Adaptive Insights, to prepare reports and improve planning workflows.\nSupport annual budget preparation by gathering inputs, validating assumptions, and consolidating departmental submissions.\nAnalyze capital-related financial activity and provide insight into resource allocation and spending trends.\nPartner with finance and operational stakeholders to produce clear reporting for organizational decision-making.\nAssist with grant-related financial tracking to ensure funds are monitored in alignment with reporting needs.\nContribute to process improvements in financial planning and reporting, including work tied to evolving systems or internal workflows when needed.\nMust be ONSITE\nExperience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within a non-profit setting\n\nWorking knowledge of non-profit accounting principles and financial reporting practices.\nBackground in grant accounting and the ability to monitor restricted funding accurately.\nHands-on experience with EPM platforms, including Adaptive Insights.\nStrong capability in annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.\nHigh attention to detail with accurate data entry and financial data management skills.\nProficiency in analyzing financial information and presenting actionable insights to stakeholders.\nRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
