Job Summary

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented individuals to perform snow removal services, including shoveling, snowblowing, and plowing. This role is essential for maintaining safety and accessibility during winter months. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, familiarity with various tools and equipment, and the ability to work in outdoor conditions. Prior experience in landscaping, lawn care, or related fields is a plus but not required. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to community safety while developing skills in maintenance and landscape management.
Duties
Clear snow from driveways, walkways, parking lots, and other designated areas using shovels, snowblowers, and plows.
Operate snowplowing equipment safely and efficiently to ensure clear pathways.
Assist with ice management by applying salt or de-icing agents as needed.
Perform routine maintenance on snow removal tools and equipment to ensure optimal operation.
Collaborate with team members to prioritize snow removal tasks based on safety needs.
Monitor weather conditions to anticipate and respond promptly to snowfall events.
Maintain a clean and organized work area after completing snow removal tasks.
Skills
Mechanical knowledge related to operating snowplows, snowblowers, and power tools.
Experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is beneficial.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators or skid steers is advantageous.
Knowledge of construction or hardscape techniques can enhance efficiency in certain projects.
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy loads, shoveling, and standing for extended periods.
Strong attention to safety procedures when handling equipment and working outdoors in winter conditions.
Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and following safety protocols. This role requires physical stamina, mechanical aptitude, and a proactive approach to winter maintenance challenges. Candidates should be prepared for outdoor work in cold weather conditions and possess the necessary skills to operate various tools safely and effectively.

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
