Position Title: HousemanDepartment: Fairfax HouseReports to: Food and Beverage ManagerEmployment Level: Full TimePositions Open:Job Description:To provide the highest quality housekeeping service to our members and guests, while maintaining the service standards set forth by the housekeeping management team. Work hard to promote the business and best interests of Army Navy Country Club.Essential FunctionsConsistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging serviceMaintain cleaning and linen supply inventory in closetsRespond timely to Members' special requests at the last minutesCollect dirty linen, dirty towels, garbage, and recyclables from your work floor areaSurface dustingVacuum, mop, and sweepClean windowsCleaning bathroom, locker rooms, restaurant, banquet rooms, outdoor patio, pavilion, employee lounge, etc.Laundry according to the colorPut the linen away according to the size.Ensure proper set up for banquet eventsPerform thorough deep clean of event spaces as requiredReport all maintenance issues to Manager, immediatelyReport and follow all safety and security issues/ policies to Manager, immediatelyCommunicate with Manager to ensure all guest/member requests are fulfilledComplete any and all other tasks as assigned by the supervisor and/or managerFollow departmental policies and procedures.Excellent communication and organizational skillsConstant standing and walking throughout shiftFrequent lifting and carrying.
