These \"common capabilities\" are foundational components such as authentication, APIs, data services, cloud infrastructure, DevOps tools, monitoring, automation, and user experience frameworks. You’ll expand your professional network through job shadowing, cross-functional collaboration, and interaction with leaders across the organization.\n\nCandidates must be enrolled in an accredited college degree program. Must be able to provide own transportation.\n\nWhat You’ll Do\n\nProactively assess and resolve the security risks in Public Cloud and Data Center Infrastructure environment. Perform vulnerability scanning on Networks, Linux/Windows, VmWare and in AWS environment and drive resolution efforts. Make recommendations for vulnerability resolutions, drive resolution activities, and Keep a track of vulnerability remediation progress. Keep a track of latest vulnerabilities and CVEs and recommend and implement resolutions. Develop hands-on skills with security scanning tools, SIEM tools. Coordinate with other security SMEs to enable/disable Firewall ports. Implement security by implementing Akamai solutions to public facing URLs.\n\nWhat We're Looking For:\n\nUndergraduate (Rising Junior / Senior)\nGraduate Student (Final Year)\nInformation Technology and Computer Science majors\nMicrosoft Office Proficiency\nSolid written and verbal communication skills\nMath aptitude\nAnalytical and problem-solving ability\nKnowledge of AWS, Linux, Windows, Networks, Firewalls, Cyber Security in general\n\nResponsibilities include:\n\nAssisting with software development and coding projects.\nBuilding and testing reusable services, APIs, or platform features.\nDebugging issues and supporting system improvements.\nWorking with product managers, engineers, and architects on requirements and design.\nPerforming data analysis and creating reports or dashboards.\nWriting technical documentation and process guides.\nParticipating in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, standups, and retrospective\n\nKey skills often used:\n\nProgramming (Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, or similar).\nSoftware engineering fundamentals such as testing, version control, and system design.\nData analysis and problem-solving.\nCollaboration and communication across teams.\n\nWhy Mapfre?\n\nAs a global insurance leader with a strong local presence, we offer more than a job — we provide a purpose-driven career where your growth, well-being, and impact truly matter.\n\nPurpose & Culture: Join a company built on trust, collaboration, and inclusion.
