You will be working with a highly collaborative and cross-functional Backend Engineering team to deliver and scale core infrastructure components and services that power our robust, high-performance, data-intensive SaaS platform.\n\nWhat You'll Do:\nCollaborate on the architecture, design, and development of scalable and highly available applications and services.\nSolve complex infrastructure-related problems with code, developing and providing post-release support for scalable applications.\nIdentify and implement enhancements to DevOps practices and tooling, leveraging automation to enhance robustness of the CI/CD pipeline, thereby streamlining efficient application development and deployment.\nDrive technology design and articulate architecture solution options to the product owners and Engineering leadership.\nConduct post-mortems to analyze and prevent repeat failures.\nBe a champion for Continuous Improvement in end-to-end infrastructure and systems.\nEvaluate and recommend tools, technologies and processes that solve concrete business problems.\nBecome a domain expert who follows industry trends and applies best practices and contributes towards continuous improvement of those practices.\nWho You Are:\n5+ years of programming experience in backend languages\n2+ years experience with PHP (Strongly preferred), Python, GoLang, Java or a similar programming language\n2+ years experience with MySQL or a similar technology\nStrong understanding of database schema design, caching and scalability\nStrong understanding of various communication protocols (TCP, RPC, etc)\nStrong understanding of Distributed Systems\nExperience in Caching technologies is a plus (e.g. Redis or Memcached)\nDevOps experience preferred\nExperience with Full-stack observability tools like New Relic is strongly preferred\nWorkable understanding of Linux operating systems Experience with modern CI/CD and containerization tools like Docker\nAbility to perform time and memory complexity analysis\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nApplicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.\nBS or higher degree in Computer Science or related technical field\n#LI-LH1\n#LI-REMOTE\n(Pay Transparency Range: $135,960 - $203,940)\nCompensation Transparency\n\nThe national base salary range for this role is posted above in this job post.\nFinal compensation will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications and geographic location.
