Responsibilities include working on furnaces, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, dust collection systems, and other production machinery while adhering to strict safety protocols, predictive maintenance practices, and production maintenance schedules in high-heat, heavy industrial conditions.\n___________________\nSchedule:\nSunday - Friday\n3rd Shift - 9:00pm - 7:30am (overtime as needed)\nResponsibilities\nMaintain production machines, equipment, and facilities performance (Safety, Quality, Efficiency, Availability and Reliability\nProvide emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment.\nPerform maintenance skills level 2 (Matrix Skill File) including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines.\nRead and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.\nDiagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test, and adjust equipment.\nPerform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and facilities.\nPerform a variety of plumbing maintenance functions.\nUse a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.\nDetect faulty operations, defective material, and report issues or unusual situations to proper maintenance supervisor.\nComply with health and safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.\nAdheres to training program and any relevant training through the Operations Trainer.\nPerform preventive and proactive maintenance, regular inspections, communicate with production operator and foreman about equipment performance and problems affecting production lines.\nAbility to train and share knowledge to coworkers.\nOther responsibilities as dictated by the Maintenance Supervisor.\n100% Daily work reporting right information on CMMS (Manager Plus)\nGood communication and collaboration with colleagues working different shifts, ensuring smooth handovers, and sharing relevant information.\nThe ability to adapt to varying shift lengths and workdays (8 - 12-hour shifts and weekends)\nEducation\nHigh school education or GED equivalent\nQualifications\nAs an Industrial Electro-Mechanical Technician, you should have experience with a combination of mechanical and electrical maintenance skills and are responsible for performing routine inspections, repairs, and upgrades on industrial equipment.\nMinimum of five (5) years maintenance experience in the following trades\nPneumatic, Hydraulic, Electrical, Mechanical, and/or PLCs\nProblem-solving, critical thinking, and the ability to work with both hand/power tools and software components.\nTechnical knowledge of equipment/machine processes.\nThorough knowledge of electrical theory for power and controls\nWide knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, machine controls devices, VFD, PLCs & electrical components\nAbility to work OT, off-shifts, & weekends\nCombustion processes, burners, valve trains, temperature controllers\nWelding and fabricating\nRefractory and furnace lining.\nBasic computer entry skills\nHealth and Safety Standards and Compliance\nProcess Improvement Techniques\nElectrical (industrial 480 volts) and electronic controls (VFD, servomotors, proportional valves, electrical motor control, PLC); PLC troubleshooting level.\nMobile equipment including forklifts and wheel loaders.\nMaterial handling, conveyors\nVentilation systems with 50-250 HP motor Bag houses (dust collectors)\nCritical thinking and problem-solving skills.\nGood service attitude and willingness to solve problems.\nStrengths in teamwork, organization, communication, and efficiency.\nTime Management: Effective time management skills to stay focused, prioritize tasks, and maintain productivity throughout the entire shifts.\nWORKING CONDITIONS\nThis position works in a manufacturing environment.\nWork is performed in a manufacturing environment in all weather conditions.\nLift up to 25 lbs. regularly, up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 75 lbs. occasionally\nBend, twist, climb, squat, kneel throughout shift Able to work in extreme heat or cold conditions.\nAbility to function successfully in a fast-paced, changing work environment.\nUse hands for simple and power grasping as well as push/pull and fine manipulation.\nWork at and/or below shoulder level.\nAbility to work next to hot surfaces (using proper PPE for hot works)\nAvailable to work weekends and holidays.\nThe pay for this position is $35.66 - $38.00.
