Subject Matter Expert of a specific (often specialized) application technology with demonstrative ability to convey both technical and functional concepts.\nComplete Description:\nThis position is located in the Office of State Superintendent of Education within the Office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO). This position serves as the Quickbase Developer within the CIO division. The incumbent will be responsible for analyzing business needs, translating into requirements and specifications for usable systems and enhancements, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to developing ideal business processes and automates manual work.\nThe Quickbase Developer responsibilities includes:\nPerform Quickbase application design, development, building dashboards, report, custom forms and pages, user permissions, and workflow design with the ability to evaluate business needs and to translate into technical specifications.\nPerform application troubleshooting, problem solving, monitoring, repairing and maintenance for existing applications as appropriate.\nProvide support by debugging issues, responding to security concerns, answering questions about system functionalities, and responding to enhancement requests.\nLeverage systems knowledge to design scalable solutions across all applications and work with internal staff and external stakeholders to plan long-term platform goals.\nLead or participate in the development, automations and maintenance of data feeds related to ETL procedures and APIs.\nResearch new tools and solutions to meet an organization’s growing needs.\nPerforming other related duties as assigned.\nMinimum Education/Qualifications Requirements\nBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, system engineering information technology, business administration, education or related fields and/or equivalent work experience.\nAbility to provide exceptional customer service experiences.\nStrong problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset.\nDetailed oriented, have strong problem-solving skills, and a solution-oriented mindset.\nAbility to independently and effectively collaborate with senior leadership, internal and external stakeholders which can include school staff, government agencies, advocacy groups, consultants, and vendors regardless of technical expertise to provide guidance on data systems and process improvements.\nAbility to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, and establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers, internal and external customers, and vendor staff at all levels of management.\nExcellent time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.\nSense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the agency’s success.\nSkills Matrix:\nExperience as a Quickbase Developer or similar role. Required 16 Years\nMastery knowledge of Quickbase application concepts, principles, and methods including application design, troubleshooting and recovery.
