Apply via Dice today!We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Programmer/Analyst with a proven track record delivering middle office and back office clearing applications within first or secondtier financial institutions. This role requires deep expertise across trade flows, regulatory reporting, clearing/settlement, and multiasset posttrade processing. The ideal candidate combines strong technical architecture skills with handson application development and exceptional business analysis capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design, development, and enhancement of middle and back office clearing applications.Partner with operations, technology, and business stakeholders to analyze requirements and deliver scalable, resilient solutions.Architect and integrate systems across trade capture, market data, allocations, reconciliation, and regulatory reporting workflows.Support and optimize clearing and settlement processes across equities, options, fixed income, and futures.Interface with vendor platforms and external clearing utilities (e.g., Broadridge, Omgeo ALERT, CTM).Present project status, risks, and solution options to senior management in a clear, concise manner.Ensure compliance with broker/dealer regulatory requirements and industry standardsRequired Experience & SkillsMinimum 10 years in Application Development, Business Analysis, and Technical Architecture within capital markets.Strong understanding of trade flows, market data, trade reporting, allocations, reconciliation, and clearing/settlement across multiple asset classes.Handson experience with vendor clearing systems (Broadridge preferred) and intraday comparison/clearing interfaces.Familiarity with Omgeo ALERT and CTM workflows.Technical expertise in:Python, C#, .NETSQL Server, TSQL, relational database designApplication and system integration patternsExcellent communication and relationshipmanagement skills, with the ability to translate complex issues into clear business language.
