This individual will beshaped to become the next leader in the energy industry.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\n\nPerforms preliminary and conceptual engineering tasks, including energy analysis and modeling.\n\nConduct and support ASHRAE Level I and Level II energy audits.\n\nSupport business development activities that lead to awarded contracts, including client relationship building, project positioning, teaming arrangements, proposal preparation, and oral presentations.\n\nManage Microsoft Project for project scheduling and all related Project Development activities.\n\nExtract utility data from customer bills for energy modeling.\n\nPerform custom engineering calculations and energy modeling using eQuest and Trane Trace 3D.\n\nSupport implementation and commissioning teams by providing required information and data to successfully complete projects.\n\nApply knowledge of mission-critical systems and terminology to build customer confidence during energy audits, client engagements, and Project Development.\n\nParticipate in complex problem solving during energy audits, contributing unique and creative solutions.\n\nSupport the timely delivery of project deliverables and adherence to development schedules.\n\nResearch, evaluate, and recommend new and emerging technologies for use in future projects.\n\nPerform all duties in alignment with the Company's vision, purpose, quality objectives, and established policies and procedures.\n\nJob Requirements / Qualifications\n\nApplicable Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or a minimum of 5 years' experience is required.\n\nAdditional project development, engineering, and energy related professional certifications are a plus (e.g. LEED-AP, CEM, DBIA, etc.)\n\nTwo or more years of progressive project development or implementation experience.\n\nStrong initiative, and interpersonal communications skills required.\n\nDemonstrates engineering and analytical acumen to develop complex solutions and build credibility.\n\nExperienceworking oncomplex projects and interdisciplinary teams of professionals.\n\nModerate regional travel required with possibility of limited national travel. Ability to travel 30 - 50% of the time.\n\nAbility to prioritize multiple projects and tasks to ensure timely delivery of high-quality deliverables.\n\nDemonstrated ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders while delivering excellent customer service in a highly dynamic growth environment.\n\nAbility to work effectively in a fast paced, evolving, entrepreneurial work environment.\n\nAbility to become proficient in energy modeling software, trend analysis reporting, L1 Energy Audit Report generation, CxAlloy software, and Functional Performance Testing.\n\nTravel is a required component of this role and will be necessary to meet job responsibilities.\n\nEEO Non-Discrimination and ADA Reasonable Accommodation Statement\nWilldan is an equal opportunity employer.
