This is a \"learn-while-you-earn\" opportunity where you’ll gain hands-on experience in the green industry from the best in the business.What You’ll Be DoingAs a Field Apprentice/ Outdoor Crew Apprentice, you aren’t just a helper—you’re a professional in training. You will work alongside our certified specialists to:Assist in the application of lawn treatments and pest control.Learn the art and science of tree care, pruning, and removals.Assist in landscape installation, plant maintenance, and the construction of high-quality hardscapes (patios, walkways, and retaining walls, decks, fences, etc…)Install and maintain irrigation systems and outdoor lighting; perform essential service and repairs to existing irrigation setups.Operate equipment safely and efficiently.Interact with customers to provide world-class service and education on their landscapes.At Ryan Lawn & Tree, We Don't Just Hope You Succeed—we Train You For It. All Apprentices Will Go Through Two Of Our Foundations Academy Programs, a Dedicated Training Program Designed ToBuild Technical Skills: Gain hands-on training in the specific tools and techniques of your trade.Speed to Competency: Fast-track your learning so you can become a confident, contributing member of your targeted department sooner.Become a Well-Rounded Professional: Build a comprehensive \"toolbelt\" of skills by gaining exposure across multiple departments, ensuring you understand how every specialty works together to create a beautiful landscape.Career Roadmap: Transition from a \"new hire\" to a skilled professional with a clear understanding of our standards and safety protocols.RequirementsReliability: You show up ready to work and eager to learn.Excellent communication skills required to effectively collaborate and ensure efficiencies within a department.Physical Stamina: You enjoy working outdoors in various weather conditions and can handle physical labor. Ability to lift 75+ pounds and walk up to 3 miles a day. Growth Mindset: You want a career, not just a job.Clean Driving Record: A valid driver’s license is required.
