Help Desk Technician (Onsite in Bath, Maine)
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, and other end-user devices
- Analyze and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner
- Assist with the setup and configuration of new devices and software applications
- Respond to help desk tickets and provide excellent customer service to end-users
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure efficient resolution of technical issues
- Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and resolutions
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. or related experience.
1 or more years of technical training in computer support, preferred.
1 to 2 years of technical or customer support experience.
Experience working with company products and operating systems such as Windows.
Experience with ticket systems like JIRA (preferred), or ServiceNow, Remedy.
Experience with solving computer related problems
Experience working with company escalation policy
Interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
Organization skills to balance and prioritize work.
Analytical and problem solving skills.
