This role partners with customers, product owners, and technical teams to deliver modern full-stack applications using C#, ASP.NET, Node.js, JavaScript, REST APIs, PostgreSQL/SQL databases, AWS cloud technologies, and DevOps practices.\n\nThe successful candidate will provide technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and architecture through development, testing, deployment, and operational support. This position serves as a technical mentor, promotes Agile best practices, and drives continuous improvement while delivering secure, high-performing enterprise applications.\n\nKey responsibilities include:\nDesign, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise full-stack web applications using C#, ASP.NET, Node.js, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and jQuery.\nDesign, build, document, and support RESTful APIs for enterprise system integrations and modern application architectures.\nDevelop cloud-ready applications leveraging Amazon Web Services (AWS) services and cloud-native best practices.\nDesign, optimize, and maintain relational databases including PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, and other enterprise database platforms.\nDevelop scalable backend services and responsive front-end interfaces that deliver exceptional user experiences.\nCollaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.\nDevelop system architecture, technical documentation, implementation plans, and software design specifications.\nBuild and support enterprise integrations between internal and third-party applications.\nParticipate in code reviews while promoting software engineering standards and best practices.\nUtilize DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, source control, automated testing, and deployment automation to improve software quality and delivery.\nLead software integration, testing, production deployments, and post-implementation support.\nTroubleshoot complex software issues and implement sustainable technical solutions.\nConfigure and support SharePoint, CMS, and enterprise web content management platforms.\nMentor junior developers and provide technical leadership across development teams.\nResearch emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enterprise architecture, cloud adoption, and software development practices.\nSupport Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation, and retrospectives.\nEnsure all work complies with Laboratory safety, cybersecurity, and information security requirements.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field with 8+ years of professional software development experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nStrong full-stack development experience using C#, ASP.NET, Node.js, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and jQuery.\nExperience designing, developing, and supporting RESTful APIs.\nExperience developing applications utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS).\nStrong knowledge of relational databases including PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, database design, query optimization, and data modeling.\nExperience implementing DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, source control (Git/Azure DevOps), automated testing, and deployment automation.\nExperience with SharePoint, CMS, or enterprise content management systems.\nKnowledge of Agile software development methodologies and Scrum.\nStrong understanding of software architecture, system integration, and secure application development.\nExcellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.\nDemonstrated ability to lead technical efforts while mentoring other developers.\n\nDesired Qualifications:\nAWS Certified Developer, Solutions Architect, or DevOps Engineer certification.\nAgile or Scrum certification.\nExperience with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized application development.\nExperience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD platforms.\nExperience working within DOE, NNSA, or other highly regulated environments.\nFamiliarity with LANL enterprise applications including Primavera P6, COBRA, CRES, Integrify, or similar systems.\nUI/UX design and responsive web application development experience.\n\nOther Job Requirements:\nUnited States Citizenship\n\nIf you are interested in being considered for this position and your resume clearly outlines your relevant experience for this position, please follow the application steps via our website: www.edgewatertech.net/careers\n\nEdgewater will not submit your resume without first having detailed discussions with you and obtaining your permission to do so.
