We want to provide functional support to all services on our platform, and the needs are ever-growing, as we adapt to new requirements and capabilities.A successful candidate would be self-driven and excited to learn, test, and deliver distributed software systems. He or she will have a keen technical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and enjoys achieving results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Currently, our primary language used for testing is Java with Serenity for E2E testing.Development Methodology: AgileHigh-Level Individual Duties:Understand the requirements and develop E2E test cases for the cloud/backend -microservices.Collaborate with associates and task out the requirements with storiesCreation of automation scripts using Automation frameworksWriting test cases for reusabilityMust-Haves (Concepts & Tools):Java – needs to be a hands-on developer (OOP skills)Working w/in Automation Frameworks (documenting test cases after talking to stakeholders)One of Serenity, CucumberSQL DBDevOps – basic experience, Jenkins, Git etc.Nice-to-Haves (Concepts & Tools):Spring framework, Spring boot, Apache JMeterCloud basics & principles (Azure)Your ResponsibilityApplies various testing types and methodologies effectively during the Agile Process.Applies automation for the test scenarios with at least one of these languages/Tool, Java/Senerity/Cucumber.Having the awareness to one/many tests automation frameworksDemonstrates increasing expertise in application domain and functional areas.Taking ownership of tasks and deliver without supervision while using their discretion to seek help when necessary.Applies principles of methodologies like Lean/Agile, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques.Experience and expertise in developing test strategies, test plans and test casesWrites effective tests according to best practices so that crucial functional requirements are verified and tests remain valid when code is refactored.Collaborates with development team in bugs fixing and build plans.Your QualificationsB.Tech.?/ B.E. /?M.Tech. / M.S. in Computer Science3+ years of experience in software quality assurance engineering experience for highly -scalable?applications and platform development in?product based?companies or R&D divisions.Knowledge of quality engineering methodology and industry-standard testing and bug tracking toolsExpert in either one of scripting language OR tools: Java/Serenity – Automation Testing -
