Key Responsibilities in all applicable departments (C-Store, Subway, Food Service) Lead by example using Wesco’s Mission, Vision, Unifying Principles, and Q-PPAS to guide your actions Effectively communicate and hold accountable to policies, processes, guidelines and non-negotiables Commit to operational excellence, assisting in the growth and overall success of your location(s) Engage in impacting Q-PPAS rankings Engage in impacting Strive Walk and Brand Walk scores and commit to protecting our brand Motivate and influence Associates to reach goals set by the location and company Support a culture where Associates want to be and Customers want to shop Own the Associate experience as primary onboarder with a commitment to grow others and create a positive employment experience Effectively communicates information and updates to Associates and Customers Motivate Associates to protect our brand by taking pride in the location’s appearance and safety Stay current on team member job duties and supports the execution of all responsibilities Own, oversee, support and track training progress for all Associates Focus on all “DOT” (Red, Green and Orange DOT) programs and the implementation of each Knowledgeable of and promotes Wesco’s commitment to Food Safety Complete Daily Paperwork in all departments, minimum of 2 days/week Qualifications and Requirements To be qualified, candidates must demonstrate an interest in personal and professional growth and be committed to serving others. Dedicated to professional growth while demonstrating a coachable attitude with a strong desire to learn Maintains a positive working relationship with team members and demonstrates a commitment to teamwork Ability to work effectively with a diverse team and maintain a helpful, positive, and professional attitude Engaged behavior with proven abilities to influence and motivate a team Demonstrates exceptional customer service with a hospitality mindset Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate and follow up across diverse channels Passionate about delivering a positive Associate experience and supporting the growth of team members Fully represents Wesco’s commitment to its Mission, Vision, Unifying Principles, non-negotiables Promotes and commits to company processes, policies and guidelines Remains proficient in all applicable departments post required training JPR Leader and program ambassador Always Food Safety Proctor 18 years of age High-school diploma or GED equivalent, bachelor’s degree encouraged Ability to work all shifts based on business needs including nights, weekends and holidays, understanding we are open 24/7/365 In a multi-unit location, time is to be shared equally unless there is a business need requiring DM approval Minimum shifts expected to work per week: 3 night shifts (opposite of manager) 1 shift with manager Remaining shift(s) dependent on business need Prerequisite Training: Level 1/2 in all departments Operations Associate Certification Shift Lead Certification
