Programmer","description":"Summary\n\nResponsible for the operation, inspection and programming of Zeiss CMM machine, the analysis and interpretation of\n\nblueprints, manuals and other materials to determine specifications, to inspect and test procedures, and to\n\ncommunicate technical information\n\nDuties:\n\nOperate CMM machines and maintain CMM work instructions for the set-up and inspection of parts.\nPerform all programming of the CMM machines using Calypso software from Model Based Definition and 2D\ndrawing.\n\nAnalyze and interpret blueprints, models, evaluation sheets, manuals and other materials to determine\nspecifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustment and certification methods.\n\nCollect and analyze inspection data and make computations as necessary to determine inspection results\nand perform first article inspections.\n\nCommunicate information to others about inspection results, part status, updates, specific instructions, etc.\nand participate in PFMEA activities.\n\nWork closely with Engineering on related issues, including MSA, Gage R-N-R, and statisical studies\nPlan and work as a key member of the production team to ensure high quality product and on time delivery.\nProvide support for Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives, companywide.\nOther duties, reporting, special assignments or projects as needed and assigned\nRequirements\n\nAbility to read and understand complex mechanical drawings and 3D Models\nFunctional understanding of GD&T, and Math (including Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonometry)\nSkilled in use of inspection tools, including calipers, micrometers, surface gauges, height gages\n3-5 years of CMM programming experience using Calpyso software\nExperience with tight
