Commercial Flooring Sales Rep

Job Description Do you enjoy outside sales and building relationships?We’re a successful and established flooring company in Springfield, MO that is hiring a Commercial Sales Representative to join their growing team! This Commercial Sales Representative will help continue to develop and maintain relationships with commercial accounts including developers, general contractors, facility managers, restoration and insurance contacts as well as calling on architects and designers.Core Duties And Responsibilities:Present and sell flooring products to clients in desired market areasRespond to bid invitations, prepare material takeoffs, prepare and submit bidsSeek out new business, build relationships and maintain accounts Manage their portfolio of active projects by working with client project managers and estimators.Evaluate the scope of work of a project, and estimate product and labor quantities required for the project.Possess excellent attention to detail, and have knowledge of reading blueprints.Some physical measurements, job meetings, and site visits may be required.Computer proficiency using Measure Square, Bluebeam, Callidus, or other similar software.Minimum Qualifications:1-2 years of experience in commercial flooring, outside salesConnections within the builder community with builders and contractors Computer proficiency Able to work independently, self motivated, detail oriented, dependable and requires little supervisionAbility to calculate area measurements, profit margin, sales price and other basic math skillsMust have dependable transportation Able to pass an employment background screen Able to work M-F and some Saturday’s by appointmentCompensationBase pay + commission or quarterly bonuses (base pay is based on experience and current book of business)401k matching, after one year of employmentMonthly gas stipend offered, and/ or a company vehicle can be used with a clean driving recordBenefit options (medical, dental, vision), group life insurance, PTO and profit sharingCompany DescriptionFlooring Careers is a speciality staffing firm offering an affordable turn key service for flooring manufacturers, distributors, retailers and construction contractors looking to hire reputable employees.
