This role is ideal for nurses who are confident working with high-acuity patients and skilled in trach, vent, G-tube, and emergency management. The company was founded by a nurse with a huge heart, and today we pride ourselves on our values: Heart, Advocacy, Love, and Outreach! #HALOSWhy Join Angels of Care?Meaningful one‑on‑one pediatric careFlexible scheduling with on‑call supportSchedule set 2 weeks in advanceClinically led, nurse‑founded organizationSupportive team culture with a strong missionOpportunity to train and mentor other nursesComprehensive benefits packageMileage ReimbursementWhat You’ll DoProvide skilled pediatric nursing 1:1 care in patients’ homes Perform patient assessments and ongoing evaluations -Administer medications, treatments, and therapies Support hospital-to-home transitions for high-acuity patients Educate and support parents, families, and caregivers Assist with discharge support and care coordination Train and support permanent field nurses during transitions Provide first-shift and interim coverage as needed Collaborate with Clinical Care Managers and interdisciplinary teams Respond appropriately in emergency situations and changes in patient conditionQualificationsRequired:Active Texas Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)/Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license Current CPR certification Ability to lift and assist pediatric patients as needed Experience with Trach care and Ventilator management High-acuity pediatric patients (preferred) Emergency response managementPreferredPediatric home health experienceHigh-acuity pediatric patients (preferred) Schedule & TravelFull-time position, with guaranteed hours Flexible scheduling based on patient needs and Nurse availability 5 working days per week, minimum 1 weekend day On call and Staffing coverage responsibilities as needed Local travel within approximately 30–40 milesWhy Angels Of CareWe have a full benefits package, bulleted out below.
