This position ensures accurate inventory control, timely material flow, and efficient shipping/receiving operations while leading and supporting shift personnel to meet production and customer requirements.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nSupervise and support second shift shipping, receiving, and material handling personnel to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to company standards.\nMonitor production entries, receipts, scrap, and other inventory transactions to maintain accurate inventory levels.\nCoordinate with Production, Scheduling, and Quality teams to ensure proper material flow and resolve discrepancies.\nEnsure incoming materials are received, verified, and stocked accurately and in a timely manner.\nMonitor supplier deliveries and carrier performance to ensure on-time delivery and quickly resolve any issues.\nExpedite incoming materials as needed to prevent production disruptions.\nReview customer pull signals and assist in preparing load sheets to ensure accurate and timely shipments.\nEnsure all outbound shipments are properly documented, labeled, and meet customer requirements; confirm ASN accuracy and timeliness.\nAssist in maintaining accurate inventory through cycle counts and support investigations of variances.\nSupport inventory control of new engineering-level parts and ensure proper system setup and tracking.\nEnforce company policies, safety standards, and work procedures across the team.\nAssist in developing and maintaining standard operating procedures for shipping, receiving, and material flow.\nTrain, coach, and evaluate team members to ensure performance expectations are met.\nParticipate in layered process audits and support internal and external audits (ISO/TS 16949, VDA 6.3, customer-specific requirements).\nCommunicate shift performance and key issues to management and incoming shifts.\nPerform other duties and special projects as assigned.\nEducation and Experience\nAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred (OR)\nMinimum of 3–5 years of experience in logistics, materials, or inventory control within a manufacturing environment\nPrior supervisory or team lead experience required\nAutomotive manufacturing experience preferred\n\nWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and seek to hire the best candidate regardless of age, beliefs, disability, ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation.\nAbout us\nWe are a multi-technology company present in over 20 countries and our team of over 40,000 is made up of 90 different nationalities.
