Hope Valley is ideally situated in the heart of one of Southeast's most vibrant, exciting areas.The Catering Sales and Events Coordinator to join our team will be responsible for driving catering sales, coordinating private events, and ensuring seamless execution from initial inquiry through event completion. The ideal candidate is highly organized, personable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a hospitality-focused environment.Key ResponsibilitiesRespond promptly to catering and event inquiries from members and guestsConduct club tours and actively promote catering services and event spacesDevelop proposals, contracts, and event orders tailored to client needsBuild and maintain strong relationships with members, clients, and vendorsActively seek opportunities to increase catering revenue and event bookingsServe as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the planning processCoordinate all event details including menu selection, room setup, timelines, and special requestsCommunicate clearly with culinary, service, and operations teams to ensure flawless executionOversee events as needed to ensure quality and client satisfactionPrepare detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and ensure accurate documentationMaintain accurate event records, contracts, and billing informationAssist with forecasting, reporting, and tracking catering sales performanceEnsure all event details are communicated effectively across departmentsQualificationsPrevious catering sales, event coordination, hospitality, or country club experience preferredStrong sales ability with a customer-focused mindsetExcellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneouslyProfessional appearance and demeanorProficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with catering/event software is a plusAbility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedulesSkills & AttributesHighly organized and detail-orientedSelf-motivated with strong initiativePositive attitude and team-oriented approachPassion for hospitality and creating memorable experiencesCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experienceCommission or incentive opportunities (if applicable)Health benefits (if applicable)Paid time offProfessional and supportive work environment
