If you are looking for a welding engineering role supporting new manufacturing initiatives, working to military specifications, and leading cross-functional projects in pursuit of problem solving in world class manufacturing facilities, then this position could be for you!\r\nExpected Job Duties\r\n\r\nProvide welding engineering support to design, fabrication, and support teams\r\nSpecify, develop, implement, and sustain welding and welding-related processes\r\nImprove quality, yield, efficiency, and capacity of welding processes in accordance with strategic objectives\r\nApply problem solving skills to identify root cause\r\nEvaluate new equipment and processes\r\nInterpret results and provide recommendations to management\r\n\r\nThis job might be for you if you are a US Citizen and if\r\n\r\n\r\nYou have a B.S. in Welding Engineering or related technical field\r\n\r\n\r\nYou are knowledgeable in welding metallurgy and GTAW and GMAW processes\r\n\r\n\r\nYou have strong problem-solving skills and can effectively manage projects\r\n\r\n\r\nYou have strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills\r\n\r\n\r\nYou are quick to learn new skills and open to taking on new responsibilities\r\n\r\n\r\nYou enjoy working in a team environment\r\n\r\n\r\nYou may be a stronger fit for this position if\r\n\r\n\r\nYou have experience developing and supporting welding processes in a manufacturing environment\r\n\r\n\r\nYou have extensive experience working in accordance with standards/specifications, especially military or aerospace specifications\r\n\r\n\r\nYou have a working knowledge of NDT processes\r\n\r\n\r\nYou have hands-on experience with welding and fabrication processes\r\n\r\n\r\nPhysical Requirements\r\n\r\n\r\nLift, push, pull and maneuver up to 40 pounds frequently\r\n\r\n\r\nSit and/or stand at least 8 hours\r\n\r\n\r\nVision correctable to 20/30 or better\r\n\r\n\r\nDifferentiate color\r\n\r\n\r\nCompetitive pay.
